GRAVEL ROAD MAINTENANCE
With more than 20 years’ experience in gravel road maintenance, we’re familiar with all the best practices for keeping your gravel road in good repair.

Sometimes a gravel road is your only connection to the rest of your community, or it may be the only way to access certain parts of your property. Although they are more durable in extreme climates than paved roads, maintaining your gravel road should be a year-round objective for reasons of emergency access and safety. An access road or driveway that is properly graded and maintained will also be less damaging for the vehicles using it.
Gravel roads generally require maintenance after heavy rain or snowfall, or when accommodating increased traffic (over the summer months in recreational areas, for example). Vehicle wheel motion tends to shove material to the side of the road which can lead to rutting, reduced water-runoff, and eventually, road destruction if the damage is left unchecked. We can provide the frequent blading or re-grading that’s necessary to keep gravel roads in good shape. We can also build in water bars to direct excess water off the road, thereby minimizing ruts and holes.
